Arrival times

Our arrival time is from 14:00 to 19:00, you are welcome to arrange a later arrival time with us, the reception is staffed until 19:00, for late arrivals our key safe is at your disposal, please announce your arrival after 19:00 until 19:00, we do not have a night porter.

Checkout

On departure, we kindly ask you to vacate the room by 11.00 am. You are welcome to leave your luggage with us on the day of arrival or departure.

Breakfast

Room with breakfast It sounds simple, but the breakfast buffet is what distinguishes a garni hotel. That is why we have put together a healthy and loving breakfast at the hotel, so that you can start the day fit and invigorated.

On the buffet you will find crispy, fresh bakery rolls, croissants, bread homemade cake, fresh fruit salad, fruit, different types of yoghurt, muesli, tomatoes with mozzarella, honey, a rich selection of cold cuts and ham and a well-stocked cheese board. Served with boiled eggs or freshly prepared scrambled eggs.

Café Crema, cappuccino, espresso, latte macchiato and hot chocolate are a matter of course. Tea bags and loose tea are available for tea lovers.

Breakfast is served buffet style. 2 breakfast­rooms provide sufficient space and a relaxed atmosphere, in appropriate weather also on our terrace.

Guest card

The City of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler takes a Visitor fee, Gästekarte for € 1,50 per person and night Exceptions *. It will be added the room price.

As a guest card holder, you can use many services free of charge, e.g. public transport in the Rhine-Moselle transport network, or at reduced rates. More Information Guestcard content in english. *

1. The following are exempt from paying the guest fee:
1. Children up to the age of 6;
2. Severely disabled persons, whose degree of disability is 100, if the degree of disability is is evidenced by a certificate from an official doctor, a severely disabled person's card or a pension certificate;
3. Accompanying persons of severely disabled persons whose degree is 100, if the need for accompaniment is proven by a certificate from a public health officer, a severely disabled person's pension certificate;
4. Persons who take up accommodation in the survey area in the course of their occupation.
2. The following are not liable to pay a contribution in accordance with § 12 Paragraph 2 KAG:
   1. Persons staying in the survey area (§ 2) for educational or training purposes;
   2. Persons staying in the survey area (§ 2) for a temporary visit with relatives without payment of a fee.
3. The conditions for exemption from contributions must be proven by the beneficiaries.

Arrival within Ahrweiler

The hotel is located 50m behind the "Niedertor", one of our four old town gates, the only one with a roundabout in front.

Arriving by train

Take the train from the north via Bonn to Remagen and from the south via Koblenz to Remagen. Travel on the Ahr valley railway from Remagen in the direction of Ahrweiler.

Two possiblities to get off:

Zwei Möglichkeiten zum Aussteigen:

• at the stop Ahrweiler it is easier to get off, often there is a taxi at the station. The hotel is about 1000m away.
• One station after Ahrweiler you arrive at Ahrweiler Markt. This stop is just 300m away. to get off is a little bit uncomfortable, because of long stairs.

Parking

Our hotel offers 12, non bookable, parking places, the access is over the "Jakob-Rausch-Staße 3".

bicycles

Bicycles can be safely locked up during reception hours (8:00 am to 7:00 pm).
You can rent bicyles at the Basislager. This bikeshop ia about 500m from the hotel

Cancellation

Unless otherwise stated, e.g. on booking pages, online on our website or in correspondence, the terms and conditions of the accommodation contract shall apply. AGB

Cancellation from 21 Days to 8 Days before arrival, we will charge with 50% of the Price, cancellation 7 days or later or no show, we will charge with 80% of the price.

For groups starting at 4 rooms, from 60 days to 14 days before arrival we will charge 50%, from 14 days or later or no show we will charge 80%.

The cancellation fee must only be payed when we can't rent the room to other guests.

Dogs

Dogs ar welcome and may stay for € 7.00 per night. Please understand that dogs are only allowed in the breakfast room after prior agreement. Please bring a dog basket.

Flood disaster Juli 14^th/15^th 2021

Our hotel has also been severely affected by the flood disaster. The water stood over 2m on the ground floor. The reopening after reconstruction is expected to take place in mid-March.

Can we go on holiday in the Ahr valley again? Am I wanted as a guest there"Yes!" We AHR open!
